The S-5!® SnoClip™ 2.0 II is an aluminum add-on that helps retard the migration of snow and ice beneath the S-5!® ColorGard® 2.0 Bar. It has a special integrated rubber "foot" to prevent abrasion of the panel's finish. Simply hinge the SnoClip™ 2.0 II onto the cross-member during or following installation and secure the fastener to engage the SnoClip foot to the flat of the roofing panel.
SnoClip™ 2.0's are optional with user discretion, but highly recommended on seam heights of 1-3/4" (45 mm) and greater.
SnoClip™ 2.0 is not always an option as some metal roofing panels have minor ribs or striations that will not allow the SnoClip™ to function properly. SnoClips™ can be used on a striated panel but the results may vary.
SnoClip 2.0 II™ fits seam heights from 1” (25 mm) up to 2” (50.8 mm).
